• Thank you very much | Diolch yn fawr

All at JackArmy.net would like to thank everyone who has played a part on this site over the past 25 years whether that is through writing, contributing, moderating, posting or just visting and reading.

Without any of you the work that has gone into the site would have been pointless and we will always be proud that we built, generated and managed a community that was such a big part of the Swansea City supporting life for so long.

It has been a pleasure to bring to you the site for so long but the time is now right to turn the lights out for the last time but we do it both with a heavy heart and a sense of pride driven by the so many messages received since we announced the closure.

The site will remain here for a period until we archive and mothball it for the last time later this summer but all aspects are in a read only format.

Thank you though for all the memories

    Phil Sumbler

Since when has he left us? Just came on for TNS in cup final

Been on loan there all season and has been released by the Swans.

It hasn't been announced yet though.

Swans will regret this one.Local boy not given a chance, rather play MK dons youngsters or nurture talent from prem.

I saw a bit of Dan Williams playing always seemed busy and a bit raw but assumed he would stay and eventually be given a chance.

I like Dan and he impressed in his senior appearances for us, but he's already 22 and didn't have the best spell at TNS (they really didn't need a player in his position, winning by 5+ every week with their regulars). Things had just started to tick when he got injured at Dundalk before that. In the mean time we've got players like Cotterill and Lloyd coming through in midfield, 3/4 years younger, more advanced than Dan was at their age, and with probably a higher ceiling. u21s football no good for Dan any more, but realistically no room for him in the first team either. It's tough but understandable that he wouldn't get a new deal. Hopefully the next step keeps him in the full time professional game.

Is this the lad who scored a few minutes into a first start (which might have been a friendly)?
