• Thank you very much | Diolch yn fawr

All at JackArmy.net would like to thank everyone who has played a part on this site over the past 25 years whether that is through writing, contributing, moderating, posting or just visting and reading.

Without any of you the work that has gone into the site would have been pointless and we will always be proud that we built, generated and managed a community that was such a big part of the Swansea City supporting life for so long.

It has been a pleasure to bring to you the site for so long but the time is now right to turn the lights out for the last time but we do it both with a heavy heart and a sense of pride driven by the so many messages received since we announced the closure.

The site will remain here for a period until we archive and mothball it for the last time later this summer but all aspects are in a read only format.

Thank you though for all the memories

    Phil Sumbler
    Owner, jackarmy.net

Decent move. Cam Evans went over to Ireland to play and did well apparently.

Aye with Waterford Town, seen a few of thier games online and he stands out 👍

What’s the standard like over there? Without sounding disrespectful I wouldn’t expect it to be equal to league 2? Or am I mistaken?

Not great to be honest, somewhere in between league 2 and the National league level

Don't think you are. Slightly better than Cymru Premier is the impression I get. Cabango did OK after being on loan to TNS, so it's not necessarily a bad move, and probably Irish clubs will be better placed to pay a higher proportion of his wages than Cymru Premier clubs.

He’s coming up 21, so needs to have a big half a season there. We keep these lads stale for too long imo. He needs to be going to clubs like that when he’s 18/19.

How long would he stay there? Their season is from March to October remember.

Lewis Webb off on loan too. Good on him, been following around the first team in reserve and starved of football in the u23s because of it. Local lad to me aswell so always keep an eye out.

Season long loan is unusual considering the January transfer window but I hope he gets plenty of experience and comes back to us all the better for it.

They took their time announcing this, he was on the ferry last Wednesday.
