• Thank you very much | Diolch yn fawr

All at JackArmy.net would like to thank everyone who has played a part on this site over the past 25 years whether that is through writing, contributing, moderating, posting or just visting and reading.

Without any of you the work that has gone into the site would have been pointless and we will always be proud that we built, generated and managed a community that was such a big part of the Swansea City supporting life for so long.

It has been a pleasure to bring to you the site for so long but the time is now right to turn the lights out for the last time but we do it both with a heavy heart and a sense of pride driven by the so many messages received since we announced the closure.

The site will remain here for a period until we archive and mothball it for the last time later this summer but all aspects are in a read only format.

Thank you though for all the memories

Darling red card - has it been appealed?

Good. My immediate reaction, confirmed by tv replays, was that it was a very late and clumsy challenge, but not deliberate or malicious. He went to sidefoot the ball, and it was the side of his foot which made contact with the guy at shin pad level.
Never a red card, and the ref was out of his depth in that match, should be reffing in League Two.

There should be a rule that if appeals are successful, the ref in question gets stood down for a month. No arguments, go in the corner and have a good long hard think about what you've done.

Instead that clown will probably be reffing somewhere else this weekend, regardless.

I agree, but I've got a sneaky feeling the decision will be upheld, because of the recklessness of the challenge. I have no idea why Darling's foot was so high off the ground. Had he kept it down he would probably have made contact with the ball.

Norrington-Davies and Hamer should both have been red carded for two yellows. Hamer's blatant push on Ronald, to prevent him from getting away was a yellow every day of the week.

We should get Manning back just to teach our players how to win decisions, we're rubbish at it.

Appeal been turned down already!
Decision made in ultra quick time and not it's usual lengths so meaning he is out for Saturday.

If it is the FAW adjudicating then it should come as no surprise that it was upheld. Only surprise is that they haven't increased it as a frivolous appeal.

When we were in the PL appeals were dealt with by the FA. I don't know whether they reverted back to the FAW after relegation.
