• Thank you very much | Diolch yn fawr

All at JackArmy.net would like to thank everyone who has played a part on this site over the past 25 years whether that is through writing, contributing, moderating, posting or just visting and reading.

Without any of you the work that has gone into the site would have been pointless and we will always be proud that we built, generated and managed a community that was such a big part of the Swansea City supporting life for so long.

It has been a pleasure to bring to you the site for so long but the time is now right to turn the lights out for the last time but we do it both with a heavy heart and a sense of pride driven by the so many messages received since we announced the closure.

The site will remain here for a period until we archive and mothball it for the last time later this summer but all aspects are in a read only format.

Thank you though for all the memories

Referees have only got themselves to blame. If they actually enforced the rules that stand then half of the shit they get from players on the pitch wouldn't happen. Just look at what happened after the Boro game. The ref could (and should) have sent Warnock off, instead he just hid behind the Stewards.

Would only take a week or two of 2/3 red cards for dissent per game before the message sank in.

I'm certain they are told not to caution players for foul language.

There lies the problem Doc, they are not backed by the EFL and especially the PL.

Backed or not, they still need to do it.

What can the EFL or PL do to retaliate? Play games without referees?

Good answer, the refs should go on strike to force the EFL and PL to back them.

The righties on the indy won't like it as they think the refs are acting like 70s unions but it will force their hands.

The EFL and PL need to make it clear, foul and abusive language towards an official is a yellow card or even a straight red depending on the level of profanity used.

"Excuse me referee but I do think you have that decision wrong, would you perhaps take a second to reflect and reconsider?"

The wording will be much closer to the first tweet than the second 🤣
