On well if true not a big surprise. In an article he did say he was ready to be number 1 if the right opportunity came along, He's still young so a couple of years at Spurs with better pay and he might have many offers.

Maybe he did due diligence on the club ( read the forums) and thought we weren't the right opportunity for him.

I remember when Michael Flynn's mate from down my way told me Thierry Henry (did badges with Flynn) had the Swansea job and I was on here flat out pretty much making out I was the one who interviewed him for the job, I was that confident.
