• Thank you very much | Diolch yn fawr

All at JackArmy.net would like to thank everyone who has played a part on this site over the past 25 years whether that is through writing, contributing, moderating, posting or just visting and reading.

Without any of you the work that has gone into the site would have been pointless and we will always be proud that we built, generated and managed a community that was such a big part of the Swansea City supporting life for so long.

It has been a pleasure to bring to you the site for so long but the time is now right to turn the lights out for the last time but we do it both with a heavy heart and a sense of pride driven by the so many messages received since we announced the closure.

The site will remain here for a period until we archive and mothball it for the last time later this summer but all aspects are in a read only format.

Thank you though for all the memories

    Phil Sumbler

Horrendous, hope these clowns are banned from attending games and feel the full force of the law.

were these threats in person, by text, by email by phone - how many were made and to who (which officials). Do they mean stewards or the management or the owners?

Unpopular opinion perhaps but modern technology has really taken the art out of death threats.

It used to be that someone would have to painstakingly cut letters out of a variety of newspapers before pritt sticking them onto a sheet of A4 and sending them off by post.

Nowadays, any clown with a smart phone can do it.

Something else dumbed down by today's society

The idiots these days don't have the attention span or work ethic to cut words out of a newspaper.

Plus they'd be fucked without predictive text.

There is something quite sinister about cutting letters from a newspaper. I think I may try it with the matron and the admin manager in Singleton hospital. I have suggested death threats but my wife is far too professional :(

People are idiots. But as already pointed out, any twat with a keyboard, social media account, a website, fanzine etc can chuck wild words and threats around these days. I’ve been threatened with all sorts by DM over the years, I know for a fact I’m far from the only one. Best ignored. They never actually follow through because most of them are bullies and cowards.
