• Thank you very much | Diolch yn fawr

All at JackArmy.net would like to thank everyone who has played a part on this site over the past 25 years whether that is through writing, contributing, moderating, posting or just visting and reading.

Without any of you the work that has gone into the site would have been pointless and we will always be proud that we built, generated and managed a community that was such a big part of the Swansea City supporting life for so long.

It has been a pleasure to bring to you the site for so long but the time is now right to turn the lights out for the last time but we do it both with a heavy heart and a sense of pride driven by the so many messages received since we announced the closure.

The site will remain here for a period until we archive and mothball it for the last time later this summer but all aspects are in a read only format.

Thank you though for all the memories

    Phil Sumbler
    Owner, jackarmy.net

Need to be moved to the West Corner for sure.

I think that would kill the atmosphere further. When you've got a half decent away following, the banter and chants back and forth with the East stand is the only thing that keeps it going. When the away fans are shifted over towards the West the atmosphere is dead.

The away section would always need to include one of the middle sections in the north connected to the north West to be around the 2,000 mark. Then the other middle section in the north could be filled up with the singing section. And we could call it the….

North Bank 👍🏼

Or maybe the Monster Munch North Bank. 🤔😂

The monster munch mascot thing was a thing of beauty

More tickets could have been given to other teams like sunderland, Pompey, etc
Why though? To spur their teams on further? It’ll be like a home game for them the atmospheric wise, because our support is pretty tame atm though the team hasn’t given us much to shout about in fairness.

Derby are in the relegation zone so I guess their team has given them even less to shout about.

Which is true.

At the beginning of the season, they probably would have expected to be where they are.

In our case, a push for the playoffs was muted in some quarters, even by our manager at the time, who showcased some of the most uninspiring, boring football I have ever witnessed our team produce.
