• Thank you very much | Diolch yn fawr

All at JackArmy.net would like to thank everyone who has played a part on this site over the past 25 years whether that is through writing, contributing, moderating, posting or just visting and reading.

Without any of you the work that has gone into the site would have been pointless and we will always be proud that we built, generated and managed a community that was such a big part of the Swansea City supporting life for so long.

It has been a pleasure to bring to you the site for so long but the time is now right to turn the lights out for the last time but we do it both with a heavy heart and a sense of pride driven by the so many messages received since we announced the closure.

The site will remain here for a period until we archive and mothball it for the last time later this summer but all aspects are in a read only format.

Thank you though for all the memories

Speaking to one of the boys earlier, and upon him saying that it wouldn’t bother him if we lost tomorrow against Derby, we got into a heated argument. His thinking being that a Derby win would aid cardiffs demise to league 1! I’m of the mindset that no matter what, I’d want a swans win first and foremost. And who’s to say that the filth might pick something up at qpr dragging us into the mix?

Absolutely we want to be winning tmrw. I've every confidence the skiprats will fck it up at QPR anyway.

While we are not mathematically safe this is irrelevant anyway as there's no way the players / management would chuck the game.

Oxford last game of season however.....

I'll be wearing a yellow scarf if we're safe and it means the scum going down.

Anybody who thinks Derby winning tomorrow is the best option clearly a fruit loom.
There will be a few nervy people on here tomorrow evening should Derby win, particularly if 1 or 2 other results go against us as well.

If we can't get the 6pts that we'll probably need out of our remaining games we'll deserve all that's coming, Coleman is to blame if it happens dragging his feet over the useless Williams sacking and the fucking mess he's left behind at the club, just WTF Gude was doing whilst here and picking up a fortune no one knows, yet another disastrous period for our club.

Well I have a 5er on us to get relegated at 80/1.. if we stay up I've lost a 5er, if we go down they've paid for my season ticket in league one

If Oxford need to beat us to stay up and send the vermin on their merry way, I'll be having my fckn pension on em winning.

They could easily, easily, be two points behind us by 5pm tonight, and just as easily be 8 points behind. This league is a lottery with a shedload of mediocrity who can always beat each other on any day.

Spoken to a couple of people this week that have mentioned this. Utterly barmy to want us to lose with the position we’re in. Sure, our position in the table looks comfy but we’re only 5 points off the drop. A loss against a side below us is the last thing we need at the moment…who knows what that would do to our confidence in the run-in.

There are enough teams around Cardiff to send them down - let’s make sure we keep ourselves up first and foremost.

The games v the vermin aside, I'd suggest this is now the biggest of the season. Which is why I think it'll be rocking today. I'm sure we won't go down, but thers plenty of us who still think thers plenty of jeopardy here.
The excitement of staying up coupled with the thought of ' them' disappearing will spur the crowd today.

I don’t want us to lose today, I want to smash them, but the way I see it… if we happen lose the blow will be softened because of what it means to those down the road.

The only result that matters today is ours.
I don’t want to be looking around nervously at any of the other results
Minimum I want today is to keep the buffer gap.
Perfect few days is us collecting 6 points whatever the other results
Get that and there is no way a combination of results will send us down

I don’t think anyone will be surprised if we lose today, we seem to struggle in games we should/need to win, although hopefully be different with Sheehan at the helm🤷‍♂️
