• Thank you very much | Diolch yn fawr

All at JackArmy.net would like to thank everyone who has played a part on this site over the past 25 years whether that is through writing, contributing, moderating, posting or just visting and reading.

Without any of you the work that has gone into the site would have been pointless and we will always be proud that we built, generated and managed a community that was such a big part of the Swansea City supporting life for so long.

It has been a pleasure to bring to you the site for so long but the time is now right to turn the lights out for the last time but we do it both with a heavy heart and a sense of pride driven by the so many messages received since we announced the closure.

The site will remain here for a period until we archive and mothball it for the last time later this summer but all aspects are in a read only format.

Thank you though for all the memories

    Phil Sumbler
    Owner, jackarmy.net

Does he think we are idiots? “We were so dominant” “We were really dangerous”

The Swans, aimless, gutless and passive, failed to lay a glove on Chris Wilder’s men who were as surprised...

We were so dominant that we had one, yes one, attempt on target in the first half, a scuffed shot from Obafemi not really worthy of the name.

Fans are watching a totally different game to what the manager is seeing and it's now become a complete joke. Also why does he get such an apparent easy time from the journalists though? whose jobs should be to ask probing questions and actually put some difficult questions to him? The performances for some time now have been largely to slow and riddled with errors from the system and tactics that he chooses to adopt and obviously then the results in turn are poor. He chose to spend close to two million on centre halfs in the summer yet we have no real competition at the full back positions or real pace throughout the team. It's about time the journalists started calling him out on the stats driven drivel that he serves up each week while for me the board now need to show that they have some interest on what's is actually happening and make a change asap. Please before things get any worse than they have already been allowed to become.

Critical journalists? That’d be the day. They’re on a par with the Trust. Few little tit bits thrown their way to keep them happy with the added bonus of a potential promotion to PR spokesperson.
