• Thank you very much | Diolch yn fawr

All at JackArmy.net would like to thank everyone who has played a part on this site over the past 25 years whether that is through writing, contributing, moderating, posting or just visting and reading.

Without any of you the work that has gone into the site would have been pointless and we will always be proud that we built, generated and managed a community that was such a big part of the Swansea City supporting life for so long.

It has been a pleasure to bring to you the site for so long but the time is now right to turn the lights out for the last time but we do it both with a heavy heart and a sense of pride driven by the so many messages received since we announced the closure.

The site will remain here for a period until we archive and mothball it for the last time later this summer but all aspects are in a read only format.

Thank you though for all the memories

    Phil Sumbler

Wrexham no doubt will be well in favour of the option especially when you consider their turnover of £30M last season and the crowds being drawn to their summer friendly matches in the USA.

Our owners no doubt are looking to expand their sponsorship opportunities abroad and they, like so many US owners of PL and EFL football clubs I have no doubt will be doing the same.

As Andrew mentioned, there will be another effort before too long when the so called big clubs will be starting to challenge their right to form an European League, or World League. Let them go and allow the EFL to develop a new top league in this country to allow those fans who have walked away from the so called top clubs over the years because of the rising prices and non-availability of tickets to join a growing band of fans who have turned to their local league club or non-league football club to support.

Yes and rename it Division 1.

Unless some team/ organisation is going to pay the fraudsters at the PL/ UEFA/ FIFA and possibly hundreds of other organisations, they'll be banned from their country's competition as well as European/ international competitions.
If some tv organisation doesn't foot the bill, it'll be a non starter again.
There aren't many fans who can afford to follow their team away in the U.S., then the middle east, Australia, China week in week out
