We had a delivery from Gorseinon Dominos this evening..

I was initially against it as my overall history with the quality of Dominos food is chequered to say the least...

I was talked around.

Just had a couple of slices of my 12" mixed grill, and, yep......it is tasteless garbage even with their 'Italian' base...their 'garlic bread' is truly atrocious..about the same enjoyment to be had sucking on some shoe leather...

Never, ever again will this shite darken the Cartwright doorway...

Why, oh why did Papi's Pizzeria shut in the Bont....? They were delicious with home made bases, and cooked in a real pizza oven...

Dominos really does deserve to die out

We've always found pizza hut down by The Liberty very good, mind you haven't been for years.
Do you mind me asking how much they charged for such a culinary calamity, I'm assuming they ain't cheap anymore. The best ones we found local used to be Mamas pizza in the Hafod, havent been there for eons either tbf.
We had KFC back in 2008, haven't had one since🤮

I can't eat them either Bryn, far too much salt which gives me a migraine and the toppings are far from authentic. I used to like the ones pizza express did in town, thin crust, goats cheese, sun dried tomato, herbs and rocket lettuce.

Hey J2J

They charges £22.99 for 2 12" pizzas, with 2 sides of nearly tasteless pizza bread and fries,. They also threw in some cookies free for the Jubilee weekend. I can assure you the pizza bread and chips are just completely tasteless...a French man would just throw it at you...These twats are completely taking the piss...

I used to really like Pizza Express meals....not quite Papis Pizzeria (Mumbles) quality, but not far off.

Very disappointing they shut the Swansea restaurant....surely a gap there for some Swansea based franchisee!!!!

Shocking Bryn, rip off Britain at its finest.
I mean how hard can it be to rustle up a bloody pizza for god sake.
A swift email the the relevant dept of Dominos is in order me thinks, we dont complain enough.👍

I was waiting when niche Pizza police would turn up.. Pizza Express, Papis Pizzeria.. clearly don't know what you're all talking about when it comes to pizza

Last time I had a Mama's pizza must have been 30 years ago. They were lush then.

For the cost of a few Domino's, you can buy a half decent pizza oven and make your own. The other half got me a cracking Ooni one last year, cooks a pizza in 2 minutes. Easy to make pizza dough and grab a few toppings.

Skippy will have to let me know how niche this makes me...

Not niche at all, just makes for an interesting read, never heard of an Ooni.🤔🤔

ASDA design your own is the way forward. Thin and crispy with red onion, roasted peppers, spicy chicken and spicy beef cannot be beaten.

When I hear that the kids have cajoled the wife into a Domino’s I throw a little wobbly.

My mate (who has kids younger than mine and therefore the novelty factor must be more alive) has one of those. His pizzas look both rustic and delightful.

My son bought one a couple of weeks ago.

Yep, look like the photos that my mate sends me. Rustic and delightful and the boys must love that.
