It's potential and he's English so the premium goes up somehow

Start the car.

It won’t be 12m. That’s a headline with addons (could be daft conditions like CL qualification and x games) and we need to pay Ipswich. If he makes it though, it might get closer.

Perhaps this transfer will shut up some of the naysayers that keep trotting out our owners don't get a fair price for our players. I doubt it mind, moaning bastards will always be moaning bastards.

He's not worth 12 milion but by fuck I'll drive him there for that!
Sad to see him go

I had a figure of £8m in my mind for a no ties deal that I deem to be suitable. To be offered a structured deal which could reach £12m probably means that we will see £8m, I am therefore satisfied with that. I don’t think it’s enough to keep the wolf from the door and another sale may be necessary, what’s now important is that we reinvest a small portion of this wisely.

I think its flynn that's earned the fee these clubs are willing to pay not the club,,ateotd these clubs are prepared to pay top pound because flynn is a great player with big potential.

He's a walking yellow card every game, in the PL he'll be penalised far easier

True that. Dicky. Someone is going to need to coach that out of him.

That said, who have we got who has a bit of bollocks about them? Joe Allen isn’t an aggressor.

If clucas was worth 16m then Downes should have gone for 25m

I think he’ll do well. He’s raw but he’s a very unusual player in the modern game as he can take the ball without tackling. He’s the footballing equivalent of a pickpocket and he could set the Premier League alight if he continues to develop his game as he has here.

Definitely, he's going to get better with better coaches and better players around him.
