Draft Beer machines

Been looking at Phillips Perfect Beer Draft machine, some decent pale ales and IPA's on offer, fancy trying the Madri but they don't do it, you can get 5 ltr keg's.

I Just had a quick glance at the Perfect Draught device, and I just cannot see why boys are buying it....al I see is...

1. A very heavy initial purchase cost of c. £275.00

2. Costs of the kegs bring the price of a pint to over £3.10...

So yes, the pints are a little cheaper than a local pub, or Workies, you miss all the social interaction, which is why people drink in pubs in the first place....

I'll keep on buying my cans and bottles....

I've got the Perfect Draft. Kegs have gone up massively in recent times, but if you get the short date kegs (usually with 6 weeks to best before) you can usually get 2 for 50 or so, which turns into less with the 5 quid returns. Works out better then.

The beer is often excellent though, and if you compare like with like in terms of quality it works out comparable to the supermarket stuff. If you're not arsed then it's not worth the bother though.

I might be getting rid of mine after the last three kegs I have go. It is becoming a bit of a luxury item now.

Like I said, I'm not able to get out much, over a weekend these last months and I'm fed up of bottle ales so thinking of trying this idea out. Having a few jars on a Saturday evening takes the stress out of a working mans life :lol:

I admit to being a tad under the weather that night, but I've more than a few memories of you being in a few states and shocking ones to, you soppy trout :lol:
