• Thank you very much | Diolch yn fawr

All at JackArmy.net would like to thank everyone who has played a part on this site over the past 25 years whether that is through writing, contributing, moderating, posting or just visting and reading.

Without any of you the work that has gone into the site would have been pointless and we will always be proud that we built, generated and managed a community that was such a big part of the Swansea City supporting life for so long.

It has been a pleasure to bring to you the site for so long but the time is now right to turn the lights out for the last time but we do it both with a heavy heart and a sense of pride driven by the so many messages received since we announced the closure.

The site will remain here for a period until we archive and mothball it for the last time later this summer but all aspects are in a read only format.

Thank you though for all the memories

Once the league is done, be fascinating to see what price we are for a top 6 place.
Despite 23 in 12 games I dont think we are a top 2 challenger but absolutely an excellent play off candidate for next season with a good summer. Gonna have a pop on us for next year for the first time in over 10 years. Might have to get a family member to do it for me as I am in USA

Ironic that in a difficult season Man City's Doku still leads the way with over 100 successful dribbles with a stellar 65.4 per cent success rate. It goes to show that the narrative about Guardiola being all about highly structured football doesn't stand up to scrutiny.

In the Championship the top dribblers are less distinguished. Amongst the top twenty the success rate varies between 40 and 61 (Solomon) per cent. Most in the top twenty are around the 50 per cent mark. The player with the most successful dribbles per 90 is West Brom's Michael Johnson with 3.3. Our best dribblers are Eom and Ronald both with 1.4 successful dribbles per 90. Although the former has a success rate of 49.3 per cent, whereas Ronald only succeeds 36.8 per cent of the time.

With Widdell (59.2 per cent success rate) and the other prospective signings all excelling at dribbling we should be an exciting watch next season and have the armoury to break down teams that play with a low block. Something to get the juices flowing.
