How good is this pub as just checked the menu and it looks a bit pricey for pub food?

Its meant to be very nice, a few lads in work have been there and all say good things.

The best Sunday roast dinner around, was there last weekend.

The regular menu is good, but not had a meal from it for a couple of months.

We went there this evening - I enjoyed mine but was it worth what I paid. Debatable. I have paid more and had worse and paid less and had better. Probably about the right price then for a decent feed. A couple of our party were not that impressed, maybe they should have had my choice

Isn't about £22 now standard for a Sunday roast? Saying that, I go to the Town of Ramsgate pub in east London and have one for £16 but that's unusual.

Nowhere is cheap anymore JL, never had a bad meal at the Eagle to be honest.

This place is tidy for Sunday Lunch we called there on way back from Hereford a few months ago, there are two other places in close proximity as well The Angel and Sgwd Gwladys opposite we had lunch here bout 6 weeks on a Saturday nice food, Sunday lunch looks very good here as well.
