So some petty, childish and spiteful person(s) itk doesn’t like long throw ins from the touch line. The long chucker will presumably have to put the ball under his shirt to dry the ball.

I wonder if the rugby guys will ban the plastic thingies that support the ball during kicks after reading what the EFL geniuses have come up with.

Multiball back again is excellent and stopping all that towel shit is good too.

Yep. That’s Cardiff screwed.

A couple of years ago when Cardiff were in the Prem weren't they involved in the game with the lowest ever percentage of the ball in play?

Should have brought in clock stopping as in rugby to stop all the time wasting

Since, to my recollection, we've only used long throws for one season - Conor during Pooper's second season - in the 30 years since Andy Legg left us for Notts County, it's hardly something to get worked up about.

Saying that, it could have worked a treat against Southampton next season.

Democratic vote by the EFL clubs.

“Meanwhile, Clubs will no longer be permitted to use towels or other articles, including items obtained from spectators to dry footballs during matches”.

Does this prohibit drying the ball by putting it under the football top pregnancy style?

Also means that the extension lead we have installed for the hairdryer is now redundant!

But its a good question as the answer based on what they have written suggests no but we all know it will happen.

Interesting that they have made no attempt to actually decide its time to protect referees which would have been an easy change given the way it makes people think they can react (reference Anthony Taylor)
