• Thank you very much | Diolch yn fawr

All at JackArmy.net would like to thank everyone who has played a part on this site over the past 25 years whether that is through writing, contributing, moderating, posting or just visting and reading.

Without any of you the work that has gone into the site would have been pointless and we will always be proud that we built, generated and managed a community that was such a big part of the Swansea City supporting life for so long.

It has been a pleasure to bring to you the site for so long but the time is now right to turn the lights out for the last time but we do it both with a heavy heart and a sense of pride driven by the so many messages received since we announced the closure.

The site will remain here for a period until we archive and mothball it for the last time later this summer but all aspects are in a read only format.

Thank you though for all the memories

This has been a superb game of cricket. It always amazes me when you see the game swinging on a session. The best form of the game out there.

The main event starts in Leeds tomorrow. First of five tests against India. England 4/6 for the series, India 7/4. Which surprises me a bit. Be interesting to see how India fare without Rohit and Kohli. A crunch year for Stokes too. Five against India and five in Australia will ultimately define his captaincy. Let’s get it on, as they say.

It’s WFH tomorrow 🙌

England win toss and take new ball in hand. Sounds like it was a decision based on historical results rather than conditions at the crease.

Test cricket, love it.

Not entirely sure bowling first was a sensible option on a hot June day when it’s hardly rained tor months. But we shall see.

Me neither. The pitch looks somewhat different to what I saw yesterday, where it had a much greener tinge to it.
