I doubt it. They’ve had far worse than us over the last 20 years and seem to be mostly relived they’re now in a better place. Whenever they’ve come down here, they’ve been fine. It sounds like he dropped down the pecking order when they signed players for the PL and wanted a longer contract than they were offering and more guarantees of game time. Aye perhaps a bit thick, but replace Burgess for Darling and Ipswich for Swansea. Same scenario really.

Yeah, not a million miles apart except for Burgess becoming a 3rd choice and wanting more first team football and Darling a guaranteed first team pick. But despite that, both valued members of the team , so not that much different.
