• Thank you very much | Diolch yn fawr

All at JackArmy.net would like to thank everyone who has played a part on this site over the past 25 years whether that is through writing, contributing, moderating, posting or just visting and reading.

Without any of you the work that has gone into the site would have been pointless and we will always be proud that we built, generated and managed a community that was such a big part of the Swansea City supporting life for so long.

It has been a pleasure to bring to you the site for so long but the time is now right to turn the lights out for the last time but we do it both with a heavy heart and a sense of pride driven by the so many messages received since we announced the closure.

The site will remain here for a period until we archive and mothball it for the last time later this summer but all aspects are in a read only format.

Thank you though for all the memories

    Phil Sumbler
    Owner, jackarmy.net

Euromillions anyone?

Yep just checked mine, up early for work for me now. Fvck. Bollox. Fvck🤬

I honestly think they’d be better off having 500 people winning half a million each. Or a thousand people winning a quarter of a million each. Life changing money for a lot rather than insane money for one (which will likely destroy the winners life after a while anyway).

I have always thought this. Once the prize gets into double digit millions the extent of the life changing experience surely slows. Spreading the wealth is the way to go in my view.

This 100%, although l think a million be better, buy a property you want and then live off the rest etc

I had an email saying l've won a prize not had chance to look, but it’s probably £2.80, that’s around the figure l normally win 😡

You will soon burn through a million and you may well have to still work for a living. That’s not life changing enough for me.

At my age its enough. anyway I wasn't far out on my £2.80 winnings I won £2.90 twice for a grand total of £5.80 😂

Back in 2017 we had 5 numbers on the lotto which was the third prize and won £494.
If we‘d had the other number it would have been £11,389,307.
Yes thats right over eleven million pounds. 😂

At least the 2 and the 47 were pretty much as far apart as they could be (I’m looking for positives here).

That must be enough for a pint of that Clodwen Gold (or whatever it’s called).

Jokes aside, and I was thinking about this earlier, I’d burn a million on houses for the kids, us moving, eighty odd grand on a car and a few England cricket tours with all the trimmings. It doesn’t go far.
