Pathetic isn't it. Apparently it's more important to cut to adverts to push tat, than to show a bit more respect to what's going on in Ukraine. Am I surprised, no not really, money talks.

I have fond memories of watching European Cup games on ITV growing up, usually with Bryan Moore's commentary (less said about Ron Atkinson the better). So why are they so absolutely crap at covering live sport these days?

They've famously missed goals in live football (Merseyside derby, England in World Cup), their front man is the awful Mark Pougatch, their pundits are usually terrible and they bizarrely promoted Sam Matterface over Clive Tyldesley as senior commentator.

Added to that their Six Nations coverage is awful. While the BBC consistently have decent pundits and commentators making good points, ITV hires the likes of Dallagio to bore us witless during the games and have Clive Woodward, Jonny Wilkinson and Gareth Thomas to put us to sleep in the studio.

Just pants all round. I'm not a big fan of ITV Sport, you may have noticed... :lol:
