• Thank you very much | Diolch yn fawr

All at JackArmy.net would like to thank everyone who has played a part on this site over the past 25 years whether that is through writing, contributing, moderating, posting or just visting and reading.

Without any of you the work that has gone into the site would have been pointless and we will always be proud that we built, generated and managed a community that was such a big part of the Swansea City supporting life for so long.

It has been a pleasure to bring to you the site for so long but the time is now right to turn the lights out for the last time but we do it both with a heavy heart and a sense of pride driven by the so many messages received since we announced the closure.

The site will remain here for a period until we archive and mothball it for the last time later this summer but all aspects are in a read only format.

Thank you though for all the memories

So many memories of this one for me

A great night at Anfield in the replay despite the scoreline - got back to Swansea about 3am. Dropped off by the bus by Stanley Park when we got to LIverpool and left to our own devices. Walked straight into the local Liverpool pub thankfully the locals were welcoming! WIll never forget the fans goal - great moment!

Queuing the day after the first game for tickets for the replay. Had no idea whether I would get the day off work but wasgoing to phone in sick if I didnt - saw my boss in the same queue that killed the sickness plan but got me the day off!

Being in RItzy's the night of the 0-0 draw. Andy Legg was in there showing off about how he did "both Steves" (McMahon and Nicol) with a dummy in the game until someone pointed out to him that he put the cross into the East Stand!

How different it would have been had the effort from Walker gone in!

Lee Bracey's finest moment!

All I remember from that game is that Liverpool pretty much battered us and Lee Bracy was like a human wall, he stopped everything. Ian Rush missed a few sitters too and about ten mins from time Keith Walker nearly won it for us when he skimmed the cross bar.
