Too much will give you serious constipation, and make you physically sick, not everyone's cup of tea, but each too thier own... 🤭

Never been much of a Special K fan. Bland and pointless. Just there. But for no apparent reason.

I bought some porridge today as a result of this thread. Never really tried it before. I shall report back.

Semi skimmed or full fat?
The green one. I think that’s semi skimmed. I haven’t used the blue one for years. My old girl used to think anything other than full fat anything was new fangled sacrilege. No wonder I’m a lardy.

Back in my old girls and your old girls day it was one choice, silver top, then came the red top option and everything changed, probably the start the "the healthy diet revolution".
Well that and a lardy chip pan replaced with cooking oil... 🙏

I can answer that one. Definitely milk.
Personally I make it with water, and always add a small pinch of salt. It's ideal for making in the microwave if you get the proportions right. Stir half way through.
You can top it with all sorts when made - milk, cream, honey, yoghurt, fruit ( but I'd draw the line at salmon).

That chip pan was an ever present. I’ve never had nicer chips since either.
