Could be a spicy and very spiky day for the jumped up yanks. Cantlays caddies gonna get more grief than Ramsay down here next March.
Popcorn at the ready ladies.

Friday was one of those compelling days of television sport. Today could be the same, or it could peter out into a lame attack by the Americans.

What do the odds say for a USA win, Saint?

Europe 1/40
Tie 20/1
USA 20/1

Not even skippy would back the yanks.

One of the greatest sporting events of them all.

I never had you down as a fan. Was going to start a thread but didn't as I hadn't expected the PS folk to be that interested.

And I agree, it's one of the best out there. It has a dynamic which changes throughout each day, usually in line with how much beer is consumed within the fan galleries.

Settle in and enjoy.

McIlroy is a bit of a gimp mind though ain't he, trying to fight a 60 year old man and only being stopped by a lady stepping in the way...

Golf is a sport built around a strong unwritten etiquette and the antics of the American caddy was a significant overstepping of the mark. In terms of Ryder Cup, the Americans have historically tried to bully the GB & Ire. and latterly the Europeans, both on and beside the course. Therefore, Mcllroy should have a high five for giving a little bit back as the Americans don't like it up 'em.

I remember Justin Leonard ( yank) running over a green and celebrating in the faces of the Europeans before we had taken our putt.
Historically they are horrible cvnts.

That was the era when things started to get a little prickly, it also coincided with a day out at the golf becoming a commercial event with beer tents and the like. We shall no doubt all hear it later, come 3pm there will be all sorts of things shouted immediately following tee shots.

Don't really follow golf so I didn't realise the heat between the players so fair play McIlroy then.
What did the old guy do to cause Rory to have a go?

He was waving in celebration of a win just as Mcllroy was lining up his put to attempt to halve the game. He's a caddy, remember.

Waving his cap around, getting in his face and generally being a c8ck.
All whilst Rory was lining up his putt.
