• Thank you very much | Diolch yn fawr

All at JackArmy.net would like to thank everyone who has played a part on this site over the past 25 years whether that is through writing, contributing, moderating, posting or just visting and reading.

Without any of you the work that has gone into the site would have been pointless and we will always be proud that we built, generated and managed a community that was such a big part of the Swansea City supporting life for so long.

It has been a pleasure to bring to you the site for so long but the time is now right to turn the lights out for the last time but we do it both with a heavy heart and a sense of pride driven by the so many messages received since we announced the closure.

The site will remain here for a period until we archive and mothball it for the last time later this summer but all aspects are in a read only format.

Thank you though for all the memories

    Phil Sumbler

Absolutely loving this expanded tournament with qualifying groups. Athletico Madrid and Porto already dumped out of the first 2 groups. Chelsea need a result against Tunis today

Mamelodi Sundowns are phenomenal entertainment to watch. Won the 1st game then lost 4-3 to Borussia Dortmund with Dortmund getting 2 extremely fortunate goals.

They seem to play a 0-4-6 formation. Lucas Ribiero Costa has got 10 times more tricks than magic daps. A top team is gonna snap him up. Check out Ribeiro opening the scoring, notice its 3 v 1 against the GK.

0-4-6 formation. Playing the Fluminese in the last game, its gonna be an awesome display of attacking football from both side

Do you think this introducing the players one by one as they come out onto the pitch will catch on.
I think it’s rather cringy myself

They seem to have suspended the Boca Juniors game because despite blue skies over the stadium there’s a bit of rain a few miles away. What a load of woke nonsense.

Uh, in southern east parts of the USA, thunderstorms are lethal. Storms back home are zero compared to the ones here. Further north, no problem. But in the band across from arkansas thru tennessee to North & South Carolina you stay the hell out of the way. Not juts thunderstorms its also known as Tornado alley.

I'm on the coast in SC and last week my router, modem, monitor and PC all got fried from a lightning strike that hit about a mile. And yes I had a top quality power surge.

The fork lightning that is in all the storms across that belt of land is top power.

Oh yeah and I have no time for all that woke nonsense either.

Uh yeah. I get that some of the storms can be a bit feisty. This game was stopped for an hour and not a drop of rain fell let alone any thunder or lightning. So yeah, woke nonsense in the land of the MAGA heroes. Elf n safety gorn mad.

Juventus v Man City at 8 p.m. should be a decent watch to see who tops the group, both having already qualified to go through.

How on earth does this pseudo competition work? Interferes with pre-season training. Complete joke.

I am enjoying the competition.
Great to see some global club teams I had never heard of let alone seen play before.
Overall good standard of football.
Winning team gets £92 million so a change to preseason planning won’t bother them too much if win and if they don’t, this is far better to get a team to gel ( lots of new team players involved Delap etc ) and have a look at quality of your squad than many of the tedious preseason friendlies, in my opinion.
