I see the Chelsea manager was rightly pissed off with it as well. Absolute shambles. They need to rethink their plans for the World Cup, or consider moving it to a proper country. The protocol is (apparently) that if there’s a lightning strike with 10 miles the game has to stop for 30 minutes. And that 30 minute clock resets with every flash of lightning. The Chelsea game was delayed for one hour 53 minutes and it should have been longer but they decided to abandon the protocol by eventually realising it’s ridiculous. As far as I know, not a drop of rain fell.
The next proper World Cup is being held at many of the same venues as this abomination of a tournament. Let’s hope the woke maga snowflakes get a grip before then and stop being scared of weather.
Just give the whole thing to Canada and Mexico. It’s best all round.I see the Chelsea manager was rightly pissed off with it as well. Absolute shambles. They need to rethink their plans for the World Cup, or consider moving it to a proper country.
