• Thank you very much | Diolch yn fawr

All at JackArmy.net would like to thank everyone who has played a part on this site over the past 25 years whether that is through writing, contributing, moderating, posting or just visting and reading.

Without any of you the work that has gone into the site would have been pointless and we will always be proud that we built, generated and managed a community that was such a big part of the Swansea City supporting life for so long.

It has been a pleasure to bring to you the site for so long but the time is now right to turn the lights out for the last time but we do it both with a heavy heart and a sense of pride driven by the so many messages received since we announced the closure.

The site will remain here for a period until we archive and mothball it for the last time later this summer but all aspects are in a read only format.

Thank you though for all the memories

    Phil Sumbler

Fit Jacks is a free 12-week health and wellbeing programme which combines information about healthier choices with free weekly fitness sessions which cater to your fitness levels. Participants on average lost 5% of their body weight and saw benefits which remained long after the course was finished

Sounds great. I did something similar a few years back and I still use some of the techniques I learned.

Several different options for day of the week, time and location. They start towards mid January and will go on until mid April.

If you click on the link, I am sure there are some on a Saturday morning as well. I’m not going to check now, but 9.30 rings a bell.
After showing early enthusiasm, Max seems to have gone right off the idea 😂

It’s a great idea, and I advise anybody who wants to lose a bit of weight, and just ‘feel good’ pop along and have a bash. It really is a great feeling to do a bit of exercise, the initial step may be hard, but I think the majority of people will not regret, taking the plunge.

I could not agree more.

Mrs Pego and me have been doing the Michael Moseley 5:2 diet regime, and four or five times a week I do 5k on my exercise bike, followed by a range of exercises with a pair of 5kg dumbells. Already feeling the benefits.

That's similar to what I used to do 20 minute warm up then 3 to 5 sets of circuits with dumbells I'd have light and heavy weeks and mix them up not one week of light and one week of heavy 3 times week sometimes I'd do a Saturday as well and inbetween I'd do Hit workouts on bike, body gets used to doing the same stuff, so you need to mix it up to trick the body.
