• Thank you very much | Diolch yn fawr

All at JackArmy.net would like to thank everyone who has played a part on this site over the past 25 years whether that is through writing, contributing, moderating, posting or just visting and reading.

Without any of you the work that has gone into the site would have been pointless and we will always be proud that we built, generated and managed a community that was such a big part of the Swansea City supporting life for so long.

It has been a pleasure to bring to you the site for so long but the time is now right to turn the lights out for the last time but we do it both with a heavy heart and a sense of pride driven by the so many messages received since we announced the closure.

The site will remain here for a period until we archive and mothball it for the last time later this summer but all aspects are in a read only format.

Thank you though for all the memories

One of the best away days of the Premier League years. I still rave about the Carroll cross.

Great day. Not the first win our history as stated by commentator, first league win at Anfield. There was a memorable night in the League cup under Laudrup

Kin 'ell, that wasn't 5 years ago
Llorente was class mind.😍👍

Aye, five years. There’s a lot of water flowed under the bridge since then.

He said clearly “in the league”

That was beautiful.
Wasn’t Llorente a wardrobe in the eyes of certain posters

We got there early and went into The Arkles and had nothing but respect and good banter from the Liverpool supporters, was in the corner of the ground where TC put in that cross having made an excellent run for the ball. A great day out.

Popular with the ladies was Fernando.

I recall Mrs J_B and a couple of her friends saying that they’d have paid to watch his medical.

I can’t think what he has that I don’t.

How low we have sunk over the past five years? There's not one of the current squad good enough or has the potential to lace the boots of the squad that day.

Well Naughton played the full game & Fulton came off the bench but apart from that!
Joking aside yeah it's been really frustrating seeing the decline from the squad we had under Laudrup to what we have now.
