Ahead of the release of the fixtures today I’ve been told it’s Middlesbrough away up first.

Charlton home last game of the season.

I hope we are comfortably safe by early March because from mid-March onwards, that's one of the most stinking run-ins we've had in years, decades probably.

We'll need a good start to get confidence levels up, wouldn't like to test out what happens if we don't.

If we are there or thereabouts in the playoff pack then March and April would be make or break time for our season, as you said the run in is horrific

We have to play everyone twice so I am not concerned with when we play teams.

I'm just gutted that we are not home first game of the season.

The Championship has a habit of making mugs of us all. Just because the run in looks tough in June doesn’t mean it’ll play out like that next April and May.

Yes, but at the back end of last season we had 6 pointers at home against strugglers Derby, Oxford, Plymouth and Hull and won all but one, drawing the other (edited). I'd much rather have had the computer spew that sort of list out for us again.

Just looked into going to the Boro and Wed games - £212 & £123 day returns from my abode just outside that there London….on a feckin Saturday !!🙄…feck that! I don’t know whether to laugh or cry. The ordinary fan is totally priced out of the game - trains, tickets, pints, grub…It’s a bloody racket - so glad I did it all when I was young and it was affordable…

How come we keep getting away games to start? The club website says this is the 16th out of 19 seasons. That is a joke. Standard last game of the season at home game again too! Weird!

I've noticed, due to them being relegated, we have 4 home games scheduled the same dates as Cardiff, including our opening home game v Sheffield Utd while they host Rotherham, definitely somebody will get moved there as those clubs do not get on either. At least we should find out by the end of next week as the TV fixtures until end of September are due to be released by then.

Other clashes are Saturdays 4th October, 7th & 21st March. Would think in the end we won't play at home same days due to police.

Be more worried about us both being away on the same day, particularly if we were both heading for the same part of the country. Not sure if that's happening or not.
