• Thank you very much | Diolch yn fawr

All at JackArmy.net would like to thank everyone who has played a part on this site over the past 25 years whether that is through writing, contributing, moderating, posting or just visting and reading.

Without any of you the work that has gone into the site would have been pointless and we will always be proud that we built, generated and managed a community that was such a big part of the Swansea City supporting life for so long.

It has been a pleasure to bring to you the site for so long but the time is now right to turn the lights out for the last time but we do it both with a heavy heart and a sense of pride driven by the so many messages received since we announced the closure.

The site will remain here for a period until we archive and mothball it for the last time later this summer but all aspects are in a read only format.

Thank you though for all the memories

    Phil Sumbler

I didn’t like Cooper here, he got results but I thought it screamed short term just as Monk did, but argue at all with the turnaround he’s had at forest. Seems to know how to grind results out.

It also seems the squad he has there is better suited to his style of play. Also, it didn't help that over half his time was in front of empty stadiums, it kind of exacerbated his dour, boring, cagey style.

Just watched highlights on MOTD, first game on, why have Middlesbrough loaned Spence out?

Remember when we used to beat the big sides, and their supporters used to say "ahhhh we had an off game, we weren't our normal selves". And then our fans would moan that we never got any credit.

Yeah that.

Well done Cooper and Forest.

Yes well done Steve, I don't begrudge him any success he has, it was never going to work out with us and he wanted away. Life carries on.

Great win for Forest obviously, but I'm not having it that it was skillful, free-flowing football for God's sake.

It was standard Cooper. 5 at the back defending well and trying to pick off a goal with constant channel balls.

Aye, it’s a results driven business at the end of the day.

I thought they played well. That pace with Spence an Johnson will cause everyone problems. Surprised no one bigger has picked up Spence already.

Cooper can win the league for all I care. Will never change my mind that it was unbearable to watch with us, and that he had to go, because it was and he did.

Was thinking the same.

Already attracting premier league interest.

I thought he looked really good at the Liberty as well, I didn't know anything about him so did a search & was surprised he was on loan.
Second time I've seen him was yesterday & he really impressed again.

Don't disagree with anything. Just won't see me agreeing with Cooperball being free-flowing :D
