What was the name of the small vintage clothes shop just before Picton Arcade in Oxford st?
It was just before Rowberry 's?
Was it Hooper's or Barker's? I bought many a cheap t shirt in there whilst the jeans were very expensive.

Are you thinking of Rodericks? There was a shop in the arcade but I think there was one on Oxford Street at one time.

You’re right about Treasure being on Newton Road, it’s Tesco Express now.

That's it, Newton Road, not Oystermouth Road. Thanks, Mutey.

If you haven’t been there for a while, you would not recognise Newton Road nowadays compared to years ago. There’s even Marks and Spencer food hall there now, opposite the police station.

FFS dicky I've racked my brains but I still cant remember the name of that clothes shop in the picton arcade.

It was just a surname like "Cooper's. The changing room had swing doors like in a cowboy film bar.
Nice staff there, all ladies.👍

Remember "Inter Sport" right opposite the train station circa 1988?
The most crampt shop I've ever been into.
Plus the Peter's book shop on the Kingsway is still greatly missed.

It was, I used to love going over there frequently from my house in pleasant st just to dream what I could buy.

Think the clothes shop in Picton Arcade was Phil Pritchards , used to buy my Wranglers / Levis jeans and jackets there back in day .

Can you remember what the sports shop in Oxford Street was called? I’ve been racking my brains but can’t recall the name.
