What was the name of the small vintage clothes shop just before Picton Arcade in Oxford st?
It was just before Rowberry 's?
Was it Hooper's or Barker's? I bought many a cheap t shirt in there whilst the jeans were very expensive.

Are you thinking of Rodericks? There was a shop in the arcade but I think there was one on Oxford Street at one time.

Rodericks was in Wind Street - next door down from The Duke Hotel.

Menzies was originally up in Craddock Street opposite the In n Out wasn’t it? Then they relocated to the corner site in Oxford Street and the shop trebled in size.

Ah, yes of course. Getting the two mixed up, an age thing 😉.

I don't remember the store on that street, but I was probably inattentive. It all depends on demand, which breeds supply. Currently, fabric stores, costume stores, tech stores, etc., are expanding massively. I learned this from my experience preparing for my friend's wedding and looking for a tuxedo. It is not as easy a task as it may seem, so having a lot of stores - helps in the search. I also found it helpful to know about https://www.gentlemansguru.com/, because that is where I found my blue suit. Maybe you will find it useful to know about the store and service. Tell me, what advice can you give about business style?

🤣 🤣
