He’s been the highlight of the signings for me (although Vigouroux has been good too). Let’s hope he actually gets on the pitch tomorrow.

This made me chuckle in the programme:
“He recalls seeing the likes of Euro 2016 winners Eder and Renato Sanches in the club’s colours when the Swans were in the Premier League, and it made an impression on him.”

Oh aye, watching Sanches in a Swans shirt certainly made an impression on me too :ROFLMAO:

I'll believe that when I see him pass the ball straight to the advertising boards :ROFLMAO:

Luke Williams thinks he’s being smart but every body knows he is not because he thinks he’s copying Russell but Russell used stats and eyeball facts to make clever changes, not like Williams who thinks he’s copying Russell but he is not Russell Martin.
Franco is top6 on team sheet. All day

Russell Martin failed to make clever changes until it was too late. Agree your point about copying though, LW is RM_lite.

Martin clever changes? He was just lucky he had a game changer in Ntcham on the bench. And why was it that Ntcham wasn't fit enough to start for most of his time with us? Martin's fault?

Ntcham started plenty of games for us but was massively inconsistent.
If players like Franco & Ntcham aren't fit enough to last 90 minutes then look at our fitness coaches & medical team, not the manager.

Surely the manager needs to ask why players aren't fit enough to finish games.

Agreed he absolutely has to question the fitness team because that's what they're there for. There's no way a player like Franco should only be playing an hour.
Funnily enough Walsh has been available consistently for Luton (apart from his red card ban) when our medical team couldn't keep him fit....

We seem to lose quite a lot of players to injury. Is it a coincidence, I don't know 🤷

Players like Franco been brought up playing in more tekkers game and less of the power and pace athleticism game.
Can’t just turn on a switch and suddenly be all-power to play his fighty way in the ultra combative English league.
Needs more time to see if he’s got the gas to step up for 100mins.
Needs to be managed better.

His style of play is a combative box to box type of player, ideal for this league.
