“ I am being genuinely serious when I say I want to be watching the game when Ayew gets a double compound fracture of his leg”

Charming.

Funny how a club the had a couple of seasons in the sun when horses pulled carts and Griffin Park was an open sewer can feel so entitled.

Odious manager, odious fans, odious club.

Lolz at Brentford.

Uppa swans.

It is when you read things like that you realise that we must be doing something right :D

We can buy him when we go up and they blow up again.

I thought Ayew looked a bit ridiculous rolling around to be honest, but he was bleeding so they can't say he didn't take a knock

Ayew obviously seems to have riled them up. Here is a more articulate review with tbf a good response from Izzy

Having read that I think its fair to say that he watched a different game to me - not sure where he got enough fouls for us to have multiple red cards

They were the better side. They had more shots. They had more possession. They should have won. They didn't.

But in true Mad Tom style they cannot accept that is down to their team and nothing else.

Exactly this.

They are judging us solely on that one performance last night, saying that we will drop out of the playoffs by the end of the year. Maybe they should take a look at some of our other games and have a look at our goal difference...

The fact is, we played shocking last night. I think we all accept that. They still couldn't beat us, even with a 1 man advantage. That says more about their conversion of chances and finishing than anything else.

It's hilarious how wound up they seem.

One-eyed twats. Honestly able to complain about our physical approach when they presumably watch their team every week shows how deluded they are. They probably still believe the red card in the playoff game was wrong.

If you watched them at any set-piece around our area, they obviously practice as a team to do everything possible to get defenders knocked over. They were pushing, grabbing shirts, everything they could to get a free header. Sometimes when the referee blew for a foul by them, he could have been looking at any one of multiple offences.

Andre likes to exaggerate contact, no argument there. Naughton's red was justified, no argument there either. But if they genuinely don't see how good their team are at the dark arts then they're pretty clueless about football. Naughton's second yellow was a textbook example. Canos cleverly allowed the ball to get away from him a little, tempting Naughton in, while knowing he was always going to get there first. Naughton was dull enough to fall for it and Canos acted like he'd been shot after the merest brush of contact. So the complaints about Ayew ring hollow.

I'm going to spend quite a lot of time laughing at the irony of them believing that Cooper coaches 'an unattractive brand of physical and cynical football'. Still, I suppose 1 out of 3 ain't bad.

We've had 2 bad performances in few months ( Derby and last night) , yet we are 2nd , better squad and its gonna get so much sweeter as a 'derby' double is looming...so are the play offs (minimum) and even tho Brentford are good, due to their plum of a boss...will probably implode again.
Alls good.
