This guy really needs some major plaudits,heโ€™s quietly going about his game and becoming an outstanding player
Now whereโ€™s the Scotland call up ๐Ÿ‘๐Ÿ‘๐Ÿ‘๐Ÿ‘๐Ÿ‘๐Ÿ‘

Like this termโ€™s Darren Pratley but better

It must come, surely.

Great goal last week and an assist today. His pass to Hourihane was perfect. How many times do players get that "easy" pass wrong - too much pace, too little pace, too far behind, too far in front? Fulton has to be one of the best passers in our squad - they're always crisp, with little spin, so allows the receiver to control easily. He's made major strides forward this season.

I've believed for a while now that despite the gritty side of his game we are used to seeing that there is some stunning technique hidden away in Fulton's boots. Some of his one touch play today was fantastic, his assist for Hourihane was perfect and I think back to the dink he scored with the outside of his boot (I forget who it was against) and still wonder at how much skill was needed to pull it off.

Sometimes his head goes and he gets too aggressive but over the past couple of years under Cooper he has really come on leaps and bounds with his temperament.

There have been signs of it from him before, but it's the first season he's actually had a consistent run in the team. Regular football is so important in a players development.

If he canโ€™t get in this Scotland squad then something is seriously wrong. Fulton is the sort of midfielder that any team crave for... he does the dirty work so well but can actually play too... player of the season for me.

For me one of the first names on the teamsheet. Coopers press conference stating squad rotation due to games coming relies on injuries, Roberts Fulton Ayew Lowe etc will need resting as i dont think our spongy new pitch is leg friendly at the moment. Ayew and Lowe last night were looking very tired last night and the ammount of work Grimes and Fulton had to do will take its toll. Cooper will have to manage and rely on the sports scientists/nutritionists to earm their keep.

Needs to add some goals to his game before he becomes better than Darren Pratley but he is having an excellent season.

I think Fulton does well on the goals front

Think it's 93 games and 7 goals for Fulton in league games whereas it's 158 games and 26 goals for Darren Pratley. For me would rather have Pratley but as i said Fulton is having a fine season.

He is getting better and better the more he plays.

Has a silky pass in him, can hit a shot, and has plenty of dog in him.

What's not to like? He's plugged away being in and out of the side for years now, hopefully this will be his proper breakthrough year.

Pratley was a different kind of player to Fulton. A lot more box to box than Fulton is so naturally he's going to have scored more goals.

spongy pitch! tired legs! 5 subs only one used. If there is a fatigue problem either the manager doesn't trust his bench or he's happy with fitness.
