• Thank you very much | Diolch yn fawr

All at JackArmy.net would like to thank everyone who has played a part on this site over the past 25 years whether that is through writing, contributing, moderating, posting or just visting and reading.

Without any of you the work that has gone into the site would have been pointless and we will always be proud that we built, generated and managed a community that was such a big part of the Swansea City supporting life for so long.

It has been a pleasure to bring to you the site for so long but the time is now right to turn the lights out for the last time but we do it both with a heavy heart and a sense of pride driven by the so many messages received since we announced the closure.

The site will remain here for a period until we archive and mothball it for the last time later this summer but all aspects are in a read only format.

Thank you though for all the memories

    Phil Sumbler
    Owner, jackarmy.net

Any idea on his weekly wage?

£8,100 pw according to this

Doesn’t seem unreasonable although I’m not sure about some of the other figures.

Aye, please don't let the 23k a week Bennett part be true 🙏

How accurate are these sites generally?

I guess the thing with Fulton is if we get an offer then its not just wages we save we get a transfer fee as well which may get someone that Martin wants but if Paterson remains out of favour then I guess we get to see him more?

I think Fulton has the tenacity to turn this around, if he is motivated to do it. All depends on Martin really. I really can’t see the point I letting him go and then spending money replacing him with someone who will play five minutes here or there. Any player willing to come here and do that is going to be off lesser quality than we already have. Nothing against Liam Walsh but I’d rather him be sent out on loan or transferred out considering the contribution he has made.

On the accuracy point, this site has the salaries of every player all the way down to young pro's for every club in the football league pyramid, seems a lot of trouble to go to if it wasn't legit. 🤔

Agreed although you would have to wonder where they get it from for each club as well which always makes me sceptical but its a good gauge if nothing else!

Absolutely, saying that, just out of interest, I had a peep at a certain ex-Swan to see what he's ment to be earning at his new League 1 club...

Player Name Weekly Wage Yearly Salary Age Position Nationality
Bersant Celina £21,000 £1,092,000 24 AM LC Kosovo

Eye-watering if true 😯

Fulton offers more than Smith for me.

I'd have him starting every game if it's a choice of those two.

Hope he stays with us, will come in very handy indeed if we make a push for the playoffs

Plenty of people with opinions on Fulton, I like him always have he's a decent player and could never understand as to why Martin side lined him, Grimes grinds my gears far more than Fulton ever has, he's not perfect otherwise he'd be playing at a higher level, but he's plenty decent enough for SCFC, other's are entitled have a different opinion, but need to remember where we are,

Don't know why we signed Walsh, he's hardly played and when he has, he's been a bit meh!!

This I guess is one of the downsides of us allowing the Cooper situation to drag on all summer.

Old manager signs him, new manager doesnt fancy him?

Fulton comes across as a quiet unassuming lad and somewhat different to Martin's demeanour and maybe Fulton's face didn't fit when they first met and that was that, could be various other reasons though, he see's him everyday in training though so who knows, be very surprised to learn that Fulton has shown any discerning attitude though.
