• Thank you very much | Diolch yn fawr

All at JackArmy.net would like to thank everyone who has played a part on this site over the past 25 years whether that is through writing, contributing, moderating, posting or just visting and reading.

Without any of you the work that has gone into the site would have been pointless and we will always be proud that we built, generated and managed a community that was such a big part of the Swansea City supporting life for so long.

It has been a pleasure to bring to you the site for so long but the time is now right to turn the lights out for the last time but we do it both with a heavy heart and a sense of pride driven by the so many messages received since we announced the closure.

The site will remain here for a period until we archive and mothball it for the last time later this summer but all aspects are in a read only format.

Thank you though for all the memories

    Phil Sumbler

He’ll be back in midfield next season. Bookmark this.
Best business we could do in the summer is to keep him, Vip and Tymon. And get a decent RB. I would take this over a ton of signings if this could happen.

I don’t see it. Stamenic won’t be replaced as the 6, Walta is signed to be the attacking one. If we add Galbraith as the 8, we look very small all of a sudden. I don’t think we can have two CM’s 5’7/5’8 in the modern day Championship.

But who knows, let’s see how it plays out.

I defo know in a recent interview I watched he said he prefers midfield, but Is happy to play where required.
He did. Look back on it, he said he is happy to play where required and it wasn't really said with real conviction.
Going to be interesting the summer with Galbraith and if still with us for next season....where he plays.

But people talk as if he’s being shoehorned.

That was his 56th appearance at RB today, more than he’s played a 6 and a 10, he’s only played in the 8 position 8 or 9 more times.

I prefer Galbraith playing fullback , technically he is excellent his passing is good reads the game well .
Our midfield is well balanced with Stamenic
and Franco with options off the bench .
My view is have all your best players on the pitch .

Good to see Jamal Lowe have a great ovation when substituted .
A big thanks from the Swans fans for his 2 year spell with us .

That was great and he made a subtle gesture of appreciation.

Can’t see it unfortunately. If we’re offered £10-15m for him and/or Vipotnik I think we’re likely to accept.

Best case for me is that we get a very big offer for one of them and the other is happy to stay even if there is interest.

No chance we'd undersell such a goalscorer. I said before he can score with his left foot, right foot and head. You can now add free kicks to his repertoire. Fantastic player

It wouldn't be great but if we got 10-15M for both then I think we take it and we are left in a very healthy position.
A squad with depth and possibility, even losing the both and 20/30M taken with money to not only go out and replace but pick up 2 or 3 more players with some serious money to push on.

Its going to be an interesting summer.

They're both worth at least 15millikn each.

If any other champ team sold a 23(24?) year old striker with 20 league goals (assuming) then we wouldn't bat an eye lid - why should we be any different?

Piroe scored 40+ goals over two seasons and we got around £10m (I think). Slightly different contract situations but I’d be surprised if anyone offered over £15m for Vipotnik (as good and clinical as he’s been this season)

Give it a rest, it was boring two weeks ago.
