Being serious though friends of mine went to his gig in Manchester at Christmas 1994 and said it was an outstanding night.

Mate of mine said a similar thing after he’d been to a GG Christmas concert, reckons it was one of the best concerts he’d seen.

I worked security at two of his gigs around ‘85/‘86. I sat on the front of the stage with him and the Glitter Band prancing around behind me. Everyone were safe, evidently, because we were too old for him(18+).
I’ve seen a load of bands and solo artists but when it came to ‘aura’ he was ‘up there’ with Freddie Mercury.
