It was never not going to work out well.

We are talking about a bog standard, average, second tier footballer leaving one second tier club for another. That's literally all it was.

Apart from a small, rabid bunch of weirdos who believed it was like Messi leaving Barca, it was always going to be absolutely fine.

Imo the least surprising development of the season. And we got £4m for it as well.
