I make this journey almost weekly both ways. The big issue at the moment is they are doing major roadworks in Ringwood widening the carriageway from 2 to 3 lanes which tails traffic back on the A31 from Ringwood back towards Southampton and the A338 from Ringwood to Salisbury.

If travelling via Bath or Newbury factor in time for the Ringwood hold up.

Wow, 2 to 3 lanes on an A road...dripford can't even give us 3 lanes on the M4!

Another option is to come off the M27 at junction 1 and go to Bournemouth via Lyndhurst if the traffic reports are heavy on the A31

Bought my ticket, booking campsite for motorhome for a few nights - can't wait! What pub(s) will we be likely frequenting?

Go to Turtle Bay in town centre for few cocktails. Stunning.

How many tickets available, how many sold ?

Whenever I click on the ticket site to buy 2 it only allows 1 to be bought.

It could be that I am poor at tech, it could be the site is worse than me.

First away match of the season if it comes off.

Going on previous posts, I find it hard to believe the system is struggling...good luck with your troubles 👍

Ignore Samba he is just an unhelpful troll
When you go on the site you have to select the number of tickets you want to buy in one of the two allowed sections.
Then it comes up with two individual ticket allocations - click 1 on each and you will see two total in your basket
All the best

could try going via yeovil

That’s the way I go, Taunton then Yeovil.

Its not a great route that way.. over 70 miles of A roads.

Another route which isn't bad and fairly quick is M4 to Bath then head for Warminster then take A350 to Poole . This cuts out Salisbury and Ringwood
