• Thank you very much | Diolch yn fawr

All at JackArmy.net would like to thank everyone who has played a part on this site over the past 25 years whether that is through writing, contributing, moderating, posting or just visting and reading.

Without any of you the work that has gone into the site would have been pointless and we will always be proud that we built, generated and managed a community that was such a big part of the Swansea City supporting life for so long.

It has been a pleasure to bring to you the site for so long but the time is now right to turn the lights out for the last time but we do it both with a heavy heart and a sense of pride driven by the so many messages received since we announced the closure.

The site will remain here for a period until we archive and mothball it for the last time later this summer but all aspects are in a read only format.

Thank you though for all the memories

    Phil Sumbler

I’m a massive fan of The Tubes and seen them many times, they were dreadful in Swansea tonight though.
The musicians were impeccable but Fee was pitiful,so sad to see.

Springsteen at Hyde Park last night. Sensational as always.

Last live band i saw was Take That at the Millstad on their first visit to the Milstad and they were thoroughly enjoyable, James Morrison in a supporting role was outstanding. :D

I will add that I can't stand Barlow, he seems a right up himself disingenuous arsewipe.

Just back from The Arena , The Tubes , Prairie Prince their drummer must have had the coolest look of anyone on stage this evening . Roger Steen sounded great too , Quay Lewd needs to be retired based on that display tonight alas . Enjoyed them .

How is Alice Cooper still so good at 75 years of age , his voice is as gritty as ever and obviously a bit less theatrics performed by him in this role , he still gets about . Nice to see all members of the band having a chance in the spotlight , not one person hogging the limelight , Joe Perry and the rest were awesome .

Johnny Depp , did not know what to expect , plaster cast on his ankle added on , again did not become the look at me character and blended in seamlessly to the show .
I know he is an actor and used to playing roles but I do feel he was sincere in his thanking the crowd at the end , he was also the last to leave the stage still acknowledging the audience . Nice One .

Fee was awful,it’s a fact and there’s no getting away from it.
I’m rather saddened after seeing it.

Motley Crue were awesome on Saturday, really put the energy into it. Leppard were ok (not my bag tbh) It's The Cult tonight for about the 20th time

And the Cult and The Mission were outstanding fair play

If Fee Waybill cannot now perform as Quay Lewd which was obvious last night , that part of the act must be retired and a new finale involving WPOD devised , added to the fact why the scantily clad nurse in high heels seemingly being unnecessarily drooled over , I could not get a clear view so I could be mistaken over that event .

Thought them sort of antics went out with Benny Hill , otherwise I though The Tubes were musically excellent .

The Alarm too. The Cult were probably as good as they’ll ever be, amazing gig, massive crowd too, especially for a wet Tuesday night.

On a side note for anyone that was at the Hollywood Vampires gig last night did you find it an excessive use of lights?
I’m not complaining I’ve been to many gigs in the past but my wife has had a couple of seizures in the past and she said during the gig that she had a blinding headache and thought it was the lights, after she said it I didn’t say anything but just sat there and took it all in and I did think there was a lot of lights as far as gigs go.
