• Thank you very much | Diolch yn fawr

All at JackArmy.net would like to thank everyone who has played a part on this site over the past 25 years whether that is through writing, contributing, moderating, posting or just visting and reading.

Without any of you the work that has gone into the site would have been pointless and we will always be proud that we built, generated and managed a community that was such a big part of the Swansea City supporting life for so long.

It has been a pleasure to bring to you the site for so long but the time is now right to turn the lights out for the last time but we do it both with a heavy heart and a sense of pride driven by the so many messages received since we announced the closure.

The site will remain here for a period until we archive and mothball it for the last time later this summer but all aspects are in a read only format.

Thank you though for all the memories

    Phil Sumbler
    Owner, jackarmy.net

Ginger Wildheart is in the Elysium on High Street on the 16th February for anyone interested. Tickets were about £15 when I got mine, an underrated songwriter IMHO.

I went to see The Almighty once, purely for the Wildhearts who were supporting. I went to the bar when the Almighty came on and ended up drinking with Ginger. Genius imo.

Big Cheap Trick fan.

Hell of a new indoor arena this is.

Sounds like AC/DC will be announcing a European tour in the next week or so, 🤞for the Principality

Im being dragged along to an AC/DC tribute band in Gorseinon next week. 90 minutes of the same three chords 😁

Eagles tour this year , £ 140 to sit on the roof it seems , bring binoculars if attending .

Billy Joel tickets at Cardiff now North of a hundred notes , again up in the Gods , too expensive .

Sure they have overheads , costs plus background crew and expenses to take into account , but alas much as as I want to see these acts , why these prices for loyal fans high , sadly I know the answer .

Reg was 40 quid to see down the Liberty few years back , great show and value for money .
