Anyway Alice and the Cult in May. Two days later, Whitesnake, Foreigner and Europe in Cardiff and possibly the day after that, Thunder also in Cardiff. Haven’t broached that final one with the wife yet though.

Seen Europe a number of times and if you haven’t seen them before I’d wager that you’ll be pleasantly surprised - not the poodle rock band you might expect and still a proper band, not a rotating jamboree like the other acts on the bill.

Any tentative plans for a PS meet up for the Cult gig? @prosser @epaul, etc, etc….. 😄

Blaze Bailey playing some odd gigs tbf, something called Tredfest keeps opting up on my news feeds.

Meet up with you? I’ve met you and once was enough.

May - Alice Cooper .
June - Queen and Adam Lambert in Birmingham .and Reg Dwight in Swansea too that month .
Oct. - Deep Purple again in Birmingham , been postponed 3 times already this one .

Might try and fit in Foreigner / Whitesnake /Europe at the last minute if tickets about then .
Agree about Europe , Joey Tempest was a great front man when I seen them last .

Have you guys received your Alice Cooper tickets yet? Are they old fashioned tickets or e-tickets?

I'd try and grab a spare closer to the time as I'm sure there'll be some about, but the shows I went to pre-lockdown you had to have the payment card along with your ticket - to stop ticket touts or something. That may scupper me

Royal Blood
Counting Crows
Crowded House
Brian Wilson
Australian Pink Floyd

Midlake later this year in either Bristol or Cardiff
Penelope Isles _ Cardiff in september
Grandaddy - London Palladium - been given a guesty / pass but not 100% sure If I can make it/

Hoping I am lucky with cancellations for GreenMan festival where I hope to see Beach House, Michael Kiwanuka, Kraftwerk, Low and Cate le Bon to name a few. Not getting my hopes up though.

Oh and I scored a ticket for Pixes / Idles at Cardiff uni as part of the BBC 6Music festival

Got a confirmation e-mail with the relevant details , seating etc , order no. etc .
My option was the print at home route , the instructions being wait until a ticket attachment e-mail arrives then print off .

To date I have not received an attachment , again , the instruction being ,if I have not received anything within 3 days of event to get in touch with AXS the promotors , they will not accept booking conformation e-mail as an entry option .

Seen Kiss on a number of occasions , and they do put on a great show too in fairness , but top of the bill at Download ?

Not sure how the true metal fans will react to all the glam that comes with them .

I know what you’re saying but it’s not a metal festival.
