You certainly like a female singer. 😉

Depends on the style of music. I definitely prefer the sound of a female voice in metal based music as it stands out from the roar of the music and there are a lot of female fronted metal bands all over Europe but they're not all good and they certainly don't all write good songs! There aren't many in the UK and Evanescence are probably one of the better known but I'm not fond of them tbh. Amaranthe actually have 3 lead singers, 2 male, 1 female and they all interchange, frequently on the same song.

My next gig is Dare in Bristol on 22nd fronted by ex-Thin Lizzy man, Darren Wharton who I think has a superb voice.

Going to see a great jazz quartet tonight, Laurence Cottle (bass), Gareth Williams (keys), Ian (Ianto) Thomas (drums) and Mornington Lockett (sax). Four absolutely superb musicians, really looking forward to it.

Corey Taylor at the Swansea Arena Monday.

Have fun dude

Didn't realise he could sell Arenas outside of Slipknot and Stone Sour, fair play to him

His solo album is excellent. About as far removed from Slipknot as it’s possible to be. He’s a talented guy.

Considering getting a couple of tickets for Maiden in Nottingham, but at £80 per standing ticket I'm kinda reluctant. Maybe I'm living in the past but that's festival day ticket prices to me 🤷‍♂️

Not your bag I know but Billy Joel is playing one night in London next July, at Hyde Park. Now I loves me a bit if Billy but the cheapest ticket I could find was face value of £101 plus the usual fees. So in short, fuck that.

Viagogo are nothing but twats too. 🤬

Tedeschi Trucks band at the London Palladium tomorrow night. Can't wait. Derek Trucks is probably the best slide guitarist in the world and Susan Tedeschi has a magnificent voice.
