• Thank you very much | Diolch yn fawr

All at JackArmy.net would like to thank everyone who has played a part on this site over the past 25 years whether that is through writing, contributing, moderating, posting or just visting and reading.

Without any of you the work that has gone into the site would have been pointless and we will always be proud that we built, generated and managed a community that was such a big part of the Swansea City supporting life for so long.

It has been a pleasure to bring to you the site for so long but the time is now right to turn the lights out for the last time but we do it both with a heavy heart and a sense of pride driven by the so many messages received since we announced the closure.

The site will remain here for a period until we archive and mothball it for the last time later this summer but all aspects are in a read only format.

Thank you though for all the memories

    Phil Sumbler

No doubt destined to fail but my god what an epic opening theme, could make you run through walls.

It will always be imitated but never replicated.

I think it will do really well....compared to the complete lack of quality on show now on a Saturday night.....

SKY tried it around 10 years ago and it only lasted a year, they tried to put their own mark on it but it wasn't the same

The production, the vibe, it was just a product of the 90s that you can't get back, 12 million people tuning in every Saturday night, its not something that will translate well to the vod age.

In 2023 the 'amateurs' are probably going to be bigger than the Gladiators.

So many 20-30 year olds training hard now, so I expect loads of that generation thinking it'll be a piece of piss.
The amateurs of today are probably stronger than those of the 90's where supplements and "other" products weren't so vast.
