My write up on Glory Nzingo is now live. Feedback on my first attempt at journalism appreciated. Good or bad. Designed the graphic too. Includes Q&A with Glory and his manager Donovan Ricketts at Carolina Core FC. We probably played against Ricketts back in the day

I enjoyed the read, a few youtube clips to some of his goal highlights would have helped get people excited about him. The long range lob you mentioned was a real peach

Think we need to see him playing at a higher standard to see what he's really capable of, with all due respect to Carolina Core.

Just looking though, I thought he was plaing in the MLS, but its not, its MLS Pro, which is like a feeder league for players to the MLS, so quite a lower level. You can only play whats in front of you though.

"It’s only the clubs second season in existence but they have already built facilities that match those back home and you can see that the club is serious about going places. The training is just as hard".

Not sure if that's more of a compliment to the club in America, or a swipe at how much our academy facilities have been downgraded.
Nice article though. I did not know he was Irish.

Correct. MLS NextPro league. That said its only Carolina Core's 2nd season in existence and they are averaging 4-5,000 attendance per game

Its a compliment to the Carolina club not a swipe at us. The conversation I had with him. The concern leading into the question was that Carolina may not have good facilities because they were a newly formed club
