Golden Bridge Over Oystermouth Road

Online reviews and opinions give people a sense of anonymity and shows what they would actually say in person if they had the balls. Surprise, surprise, most people are bastards, some just hide it better than others.

There's a part of me that wishes it was all leopard skin-like. It'd be even more "Swansea" and I'd love it even more!

Just seen a picture of it for the first time, not quite sure what to make of it to be honest and I will reserve judgment until I see it in person. Even if it turns out to be hideous, it’s got to be better than the bland concrete and steel railing bridge it replaced and will no doubt attract visitors just to gawp at it. Swansea could be a really nice city, but it needs someone with some deep pockets and vision to deliver. As has been said earlier, the bus station and the train station need to be together Parc Tawe would be decent if the civil engineering could be sorted and if that can’t be done a dedicated free tram service (not this bus crap) should be built between the Quadrant and the Rail Way Station. They should also rebuild a tram line from the University in Fabian Way all the way through to the Mumbles. That would be a massive attraction.

Fck me. A bit of architectural dynamism comes to Swansea and people knock it...thank fck Gaudi wasn’t put off in Barcelona. Embrace it. It’s what makes place’s interesting, draws visitors in. Don’t always be the graveyard of ambition. Open up to change

Think we already did the tram thing, more chance of a statue of borja baston at the liberty than a combined rail and bus terminus

However, the kilvey cable car is in the works

I don't think we can judge it until the rest of the development is finished. Right now it's a gold thing in the middle of a building site.

That looks fantastic.

Albert Hall might have a bit of competition with the likes of The Globe in Cardiff. Just hope there’s good promoters here looking to help out the new venue.

The French will only come if it's a soft cheese bridge... :)

I’ve seen so many grown ups getting worked up about this bridge that I’m starting to question my sanity.
People must have incredibly sad lives.

People complain about nothing ever getting built in Swansea (ignoring all the building work going on around the city), then the same people complain when something does get built that they don't like it. A large percentage of those complaining about this would be complaining no matter what was built. Gives them something to do I suppose.
