Guildhall clock

I thought I had clicked on the thread titled The Queen, which is currently directly below this. I must say I was mightily confused, and not a little concerned, about the content of this thread until I realised my mistake.

A wonderful clock and when at St Helen's watching the All Whites it was vital in determining whether the ref was playing too much or too little injury time.
When Australia got thrashed in 1992 , Webby kept asking Stu how long left and the Guildhall clock proved vital for Stu in calming his young buck down despite the misty weather😂

Currently being refurbished/ repaired. Not sure how long it will be before it's fixed.👍

When that clock touched 2:25pm on most Saturdays, I left the clubhouse and took my place on the Tanner Bank...wonderful wonderful memories 🥰

Would love it if SH got redeveloped and the Ospreys moved there as their new home.

The council are looking at moving the Whites to a new venue somewhere near Ashley Road and redeveloping St Helen's to a non sporting area.

Can't see that happening, nice try though 😉

Council selling them as second hand parts.

But they can't sell all of them second hand, they're not theirs to sell. They're hour hands.

Congratulations on a genuine groan from me.

It wasn't meant to be funny. Its just what happened.
