Guinness drought đŸ˜Ș

I didn’t start until yesterday so was non-compliant 1st to 4th Jan. Breaking habits is key; hurdle #1 is tomorrow, got a work event so will try and manoeuvre myself as designated driver. Hurdle #2 will be Friday night, we like to cook something nice, but it won’t be the same with a lime and soda in hand.
Biggest hurdle for me will be catching up with friends or going to the game, the temptation can prove to be too much upon times.

It’s horrible stuff anyway. People always used to tell me “oh it’s different when you drink it in Ireland, you get the proper stuff”. Went to Dublin, Shannon and a few other places there. Still shite.
I luvs it, me, can't get enough. Apparently this trend is being fuelled by tinternet 'influencers' like Kim Kardashian. The Dublin brewery can't get it out fast enough, pubs are running out everywhere.
Good news for Diageo shareholders. Like me!

I like the odd drop, don't think I could have a session on it though 😏

Apparently the newest trend amongst the cool kids is trying to split the e on the Guinness glass, now that would take some doing đŸ€”

I was in Sainsbury's this afternoon, and they had sold out of Guinness. I got talking to a lady stocking the shelves, and she said they can't get enough in; it's flying off the shelves. Students are buying it due to a trend on TikTok where they "split the G" on the Guinness glass. Pubs are struggling to get Guinness in, too, apparently.
I got six cans in my fridge đŸ’Ș đŸ’Ș đŸ’Ș

You're a lager lout though so you wouldn't appreciate it:D
No good in your fridge Max! Get them drunk 😎
Got a lot of other stuff here as well, I went over the top before Christmas, but didn't drink that much of it, done a keg of proper job, a few bottles of oakhams citra and their bishops farewell bought 12 of each think I got 4 of 6 citra's left and 8 of the Bishops, just ate to much instead,

Got loads of booze of all types left over from Christmas.
Will try and make my way through it this week 😜

Used to love a Guinness visiting family in norn iron, superb pint in the corner bar Limavady, can get it here but frankly in comparison it's pish

You say that, I can remember a trip to Ireland to watch the rugby in the early 2000's. After several days on the stuff, one of our party used the lobby facilities as we were checking out of the hotel and announced he'd just had an oil change...
