• Thank you very much | Diolch yn fawr

All at JackArmy.net would like to thank everyone who has played a part on this site over the past 25 years whether that is through writing, contributing, moderating, posting or just visting and reading.

Without any of you the work that has gone into the site would have been pointless and we will always be proud that we built, generated and managed a community that was such a big part of the Swansea City supporting life for so long.

It has been a pleasure to bring to you the site for so long but the time is now right to turn the lights out for the last time but we do it both with a heavy heart and a sense of pride driven by the so many messages received since we announced the closure.

The site will remain here for a period until we archive and mothball it for the last time later this summer but all aspects are in a read only format.

Thank you though for all the memories

    Phil Sumbler
    Owner, jackarmy.net

Harry Darling.

Very pleased with the signing, but I have to say, having seen the new shirt in the articles about the signing, it is truly an abomination. Whoever designed that, hang your head in shame.

10 goals, albeit at a lower level, last season is encouraging. We could do with a presence at set pieces (and the ball being put in the box direct, on occasion) and more goals from defence.

MK fans saying he's not much cop in the air. Has he scored all his goals from open play, anyone know? Saw one of his goals earlier, went on a run and stuck it in the bottom corner.

In fairness the Franchise mob must be sick of us, they've muged us once already over Fisher so hopefully better luck this time 🙏

Not sure, but there are a few in here. His eye for a long ball and execution looks very good, though they obviously won’t have included any that landed in the stands!

Hopefully it's a classic case of player leaving a club and a section of the support claiming 'he was rubbish anyway' to mask their disappointment at him leaving. God knows we've seen plenty of that around Planet Swans over the years. You could even say some of us fall victim to that when a manager leaves...

Or they could be pi55ing themselves laughing at the daylight robbery that’s going on.

Fisher doesn’t look like value for money.
Only time will tell for Darling.

Martin is making his bed with this one.

MK Dons fans were pretty much unanimous on their opinion of Fisher, good with ball at feet but average in the basic skills of a keeper, he has plenty of time on his hands though.

Darling is a miss for them, league one team of season, chipped in with ten goals and a big part of how they play.

I wonder what all these players think when they arrive here after thinking they’re joining a big club.
