• Thank you very much | Diolch yn fawr

All at JackArmy.net would like to thank everyone who has played a part on this site over the past 25 years whether that is through writing, contributing, moderating, posting or just visting and reading.

Without any of you the work that has gone into the site would have been pointless and we will always be proud that we built, generated and managed a community that was such a big part of the Swansea City supporting life for so long.

It has been a pleasure to bring to you the site for so long but the time is now right to turn the lights out for the last time but we do it both with a heavy heart and a sense of pride driven by the so many messages received since we announced the closure.

The site will remain here for a period until we archive and mothball it for the last time later this summer but all aspects are in a read only format.

Thank you though for all the memories

    Phil Sumbler

Liverpool agreed terms with Cardiff apparently.

Liverpool agree £1.2m loan fee with Cardiff for Harry Wilson

Sheesh... that’s a lot just for a loan.

Glad we stayed away from that.

The game will pass him by at Cardiff

The Swans were unable to stump up the £1.2m loan fee Liverpool wanted for the 23-year-old, with the Bluebirds also paying Wilson's £60,000-per-week wages in full.

60K a week! Glad we stayed away from him.

If that is right then its not a case of being unable (even if it is) its a case of having the common sense not to spunk £60k wages per week on top of a crazy loan fee

Some clubs never learn

I understand things are a bit different now but we paid around £7m-£7.5m in total to loan that dreadlocked twat from Bayern Munich.

If he was going to be a replacement for Ayew, keeping Ayew represents far better value for that kind of Wonga. Shame for the lad though, he's not a guy for a hoof em up kind of approach is he, after being in Liverpool's ranks that long. Liverpool trying to extract as much value as they can. Risky strategy for them though. The quick buck from Cardiff won't be much compensation if their style, or lack thereof, means his value is reduced when Liverpool finally sell him on.

If Liverpool think a loan move to Cardiff for Wilson will turn him into a 20+ million pound player to sell on next season then they are going to be disappointed.

Wrong club, and very shortsighted by Klopp, as he will find out...

He'll soon be out with an injured neck....looking for the fckn ball.

A decent player at this level, but at the wrong club, a big gamble at that price, looks a panic buy all day long?

He would have been very useful here, but not at that price.

Harry Wilson might well be the best player in the Championship (if fit and firing of course), gutted Swans haven't got him but at least it should mean Ayew is staying and he is also one of the very best players in the Championship.
